Ali Reda set up a r + d as a design practice in mid 2002 having spent twelve years working on a wide ranging portfolio of high profile projects for a number of well known design firms, Ali completed his studies at the University of Sydney architecture school. He was the dean's nomination for the NSW medal for design. Most recently, Ali was responsible for designing and overseeing many prestigious projects in Sydney, Singapore, New Zealand, Indonesia, UAE, Tanzania and Lebanon. These projects include residential, commercial, hospitality, communal and interior projects mostly for high profile clients.

A new project, regardless of size, has parameters. a r + d analyses and recommends a team of people best suited to carry it out. This is usually done either in-house or with appropriate partners from our pool of associates in various places and fields. Once an architectural scheme is agreed it is developed and refined to best suit using a variety of techniques of drawing and illustration. Budget estimates are sought and tabled upon client's agreement to the developed design scheme. At this juncture, creative and experienced engineers, quantity surveyors and other relevant consultants are engaged to work very closely on the project under a r + d supervision. Close associations with 'think-alike' consultants and advisors have always ensured a best fit and unique project which is individually tailored to meet the original goals of the client and a r + d ideas.
